You will swoon over Delta Tau Deltas finest member Matt Jenkins, upcoming social chair and rush chair he’s got it all figured it out and knows exactly what he’s looking for.
HC: So Matt how is junior year going for you so far?
Matt Jenkins: It’s going pretty well I’m getting more and more involved so that’s been fun.
HC: Awesome, what are you majoring in?
Matt Jenkins: I’m majoring in Communications with a minor in literature. I plan to get a job in marketing or real estate once I graduate.
HC: Wow good for you! You mentioned that you were involved on campus; do you mind telling us some of you involvements?
Matt Jenkins: I am currently member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity; intramural basketball and I will be the upcoming social chair and rush chair of Delt.
HC: Awesome, good for you. Now to the more personal questions, do you have your eye on anyone in particular?Matt Jenkins: Well I went to Thailand this past winter term and I met a lovely girl, her names Sandy. We exchanged emails and I’ve written to her a couple times and I’m still waiting for a response. She is also 30 so we’ll see how things go.
HC: that makes for a good love story. If you were to take sandy on a date in Greencastle where and what would you do?
Matt Jenkins: Well first I would take her for a walk in the nature park, I went there for the first time a couple weeks ago it is very nice. I would then take her to my favorite restaurant in Greencastle, the den but if things were a little more serious I would make the trip to Avon to take her to Chipotle.
HC: that sounds like a great date, what would a girl have to do to go on one of these dates?
Matt Jenkins: Well I like someone who is outgoing, laughs a lot and has basic knowledge of sports because I love sports.
HC: On that note since you are from Chicago I just have to ask, Cubs or Sox fan?
Matt Jenkins: Definitely Cubs, 2016 is when they will win the world series.
HC: Can I quote you on that? Can you give the girls of DePauw a fun fact?
Matt Jenkins: Yes, I am deathly afraid of cats, I have to completely avoid them when I see them. They are very scary.
HC: I’m not a cat person myself!
