2. You revert to childish and bizarre states, helpless until others around you intervene.

3. Since you’re overwhelmed and a little high-strung when stress is abundant, anything anyone does is offensive. 

4. You become a little snappy to those around you – even ones that you love. 

5. Lack of sleep, and the stress about the impending doom of your midterm may cause your social skills to be a little off point. 

6. Your stress drives you to say intense statements to anyone that will listen. 

7. When you hear of someone’s success, you might explode with rage (Adam after Lena tells him about the Iowa writer’s program).

 

8. And when it’s all over, you realize a bunch of things about yourself, friends, and life that you weren’t conscious of before.
