How to Rock Being Single on Valentine’s Day, as Told by Leslie Knope

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at DePaul chapter.

Have a “Galentine’s Day” with all of your single friends.

Galentine’s Day is technically February 13th according to Leslie, but who says we can’t celebrate womanhood any day?

You can go to brunch and rejoice in your independence as single women.

It’s not like we go to brunch every weekend out of the year, anyway…this brunch is special.

Or you can totally stay at home and enjoy some much needed alone time.

Me time is sacred time.

You don’t have to worry about buying presents or setting up the perfect date for your S.O.

Save money, save yourself from unneeded stress.

Spread the positivity to your friends that are feeling down on V-Day.

You’re allowed to feel sad that you don’t have a significant other, but don’t let that stop you from being your powerful, beautiful self!

Don’t forget to remind yourself, too.

Because, it’s true!
