This fall 2013, Denison girls have some jeanius ideas for outfits. Denisonians have been seen wearing denim dresses, collared-shirts, skinny pants, leggings, jumpsuits, overalls and baseball caps. One could say that Denison is demanding denim to a dangerous extent. It seems to be monopolizing the entire campus.
So what’s so great about denim? Well, for one it’s quite causal and comfy. Denim gives off a relaxed, nonchalant vibe. It says in a subtle way, I am a classy, chic woman who has effortless style. Denim allows you to exude a Parisian look of easy-going yet put-together.
Let’s look at some great denim outfits. I found these two fashionistas walking around campus in jeanius attire! The first denim-loving fashionista was wearing a light blue jean dress. This dress was perfect for class because it was dressy yet simplistic.
The second jean-obsessed student I spotted was rocking a jean jacket with a stylish black-and-white scarf she picked up when abroad in Paris.
Denison isn’t the only place that has gone wild for denim. As a nation, we have reverted to the denim to die for craze of the ‘90s. Those high-waisted jeans and oversized boyfriend button-down are back in style. This fashion trend is not only extended to women. Menswear has even dappled with denim looks from jean coats to dress shirts. Need an outfit for tomorrow? Desiring something casual, relaxed and stylish? Then opt for some denim. After all, it’s a jeanius idea!
