It happens to you at least once a day: you come across an article on Facebook or in a newsletter that you want to read, but you don’t have time at the moment. So you take a screenshot of the title, you keep the window open in your browser for a few days, or you add it to your Reading List on Safari.
I’m here to tell you that there’s a better way to bookmark articles you want to read later.
Introducing Pocket, the button you add to your internet browser so you can save any webpage for future viewing. You can organize your bookmarks by tags, videos, and images.
I collect articles from my favorite blogs. When I have 10-15 minutes free at my computer, I go on Pocket and choose one of my saved bookmarks to read.
You can also sign up for their newsletters that recommend articles.
With apps for iPhone and Android, you can also read your saved pieces on the go. You’ll never clutter your camera roll or overload your browser with open tabs again!
If you are interested in writing an article for Her Campus Davidson, contact us at davidson@hercampus.com or come to our weekly meeting Tuesday at 8pm in the Morcott Room.
