There are hundreds of college packing lists on the internet, but most of them fail to include items that are essential to your specific school. I have compiled a list of Davidson-specific items that are necessary for any incoming freshman to bring.
1. Plain white t-shirts

Highlighter? Day glow? Halloween? Whatever the theme party, a plain white t-shirt will always be a go-to outfit staple.
2. A Hawaiian shirt

Hawaiin theme parties are all the rage on this campus.
3. A jersey

Jerseys are a must for parties like Athletes v. Mathletes or Space Jam. You don’t need a top of the line Steph Curry jersey, you can almost always find a used one at your local thrift store.

5. Cheap shoes

For self-selection toppings (if you decide to join an eating house), cheap shoes are essential! They also come in handy any time you decide to do anything in the mud or dirt.
6. Leggings with pockets

Trust me, if you go down the hill for anything you won’t want to be holding your phone all night. Invest in some leggings with pockets and you will thank yourself weekend after weekend.
