14 Easy DIY Costumes for Halloween!

 

With only a few shopping days left till Halloween I’ve decided to put together this list of fun, sexy, and cute DIY costumes that will be sure to make you rock Halloween. For these ideas I strived to make a list of things easily found at the store or something you might just have sitting in your closet. Enjoy!

 

1.) Lara Croft-Tomb Raider: Channel your inner Lara Croft with this simple yet sexy costume. All you’ll need is a black tank top, black shorts, and a pair of black combat boots. To take the look to the next level put your hair into a messy french braid and get a gun/holster from your local Halloween store or amazon.

 

2.) Ariana Grande: Show your man your inner dangerous woman with this costume. All you’ll need is a black dress or two piece outfit, black knee high socks, black heels, and a black lace cat ear headband or black bunny ears. To add to your Arianna look you could do her signature curled volumized ponytail or half up/half down hairstyles

 

 

 

3.) A Minion: All you’ll need for this cute and fun outfit is a yellow t-shirt or crop top, blue jean overalls, goggles, and converse. This super simple and adorable costume you’ll be sure to have people yelling BANNANNAAA! Whenever you walk by.

 

 

 

4.) Cowgirl: Bring out the southern belle with this cute costume. All you’ll need is denim cut off shorts, a plaid flannel, and cowboy boots. For this look I would tie my flannel in front to make it a crop top. ID also curl my hair into some big texas curls, throw on some red lips and a cowboy hat. Then you’re ready to hit the town.

 

 

 

5.) Alien: Calling all  21st century girls! With this out of this world costume you’ll be sure to have a stellar Halloween. All you’ll need is a holographic dress, lots of glitter, and an alien headband. Throw in some space buns and maybe add some glitter to your roots and you’re good to go.

 

 

 

6.) A Pineapple: Show off your inner fineapple with this super cute costume. All you’ll need is a oversized yellow t-shirt and a green headband. For the yellow shirt you’ll want to draw black or brown arrows on it to imitate the texture on the outside of a pineapple. Now for the headband you’ll want to glue green paper leaves on top like the crown of the pineapple and there you go the perfect pineapple costume.

 

 

 

7.) Holy Cow: If you love chick-fila as much as I do you’ll be sure to get a lot of laughs with this costume and be able to reuse it for cow appreciation day. This is what you’ll need a white or black dress,black or white felt, a halo, and angel wings. Depending on the color dress you have you’ll want to use double sided tape to attach different sized felt circles onto your dress. Then bang your a holy how.

 

 

 

8.) Pajama Queen: Over sleep and didn’t have time to get ready for your party? No worries just rock your favorite PJs, slippers, and princess crown. You’ll be comfy all night and be sure to make some laughs along the way.

 

 

 

 

9.) A Cool Mom: If you’re the mom of your group this is the perfect costume for you. Grab your pink juicy couture velour track outfit, a white cami tank, and white sneakers and you’re a certified cool mom. Kick off happy hour, grab your girls, and get out there.

 

 

 

 

10.) Zombie: If you’re a fan of the walking dead this costume is for you! All you’ll need is some old clothes and some black and brown eyeshadow. What your gonna do is cut up your clothes so you look like you rose from the dead. Then with the brown and black make up you’ll want to make yourself look dead and dirty. You can be as creative with this as you’d like. There you go a costume so easy yet so terrifying.

 

 

 

 

11.) Vampire: Now If you absolutely love the Vampire Diaries this may be the costume for you! What you’ll need is black jeans, A black or red shirt, a black leather jacket, and black shoes. For this look I would do a dramatic smoky eye, throw on some deep red lipstick and pop in some fangs. With this finished outfit both the Salvatore brothers might mistake you for Elena!

 

 

 

12.) Contour Tutorial: For this unique costume all you’ll need is a contour kit!  What you’ll want to do is contour your face but skip the blending and head on out. Plan your outfit however you’d like and you’ll be sure to rock this costume no matter what

 

 

 

 

13.) Robbers: Do you and your BFF not know what to be for Halloween? Well this costume might just be for you. All you’ll need is black jeans, a black and white striped shirt, a black ski mask or beanie, and a white pillowcase. A costume so easy it was like stealing candy from a baby!

 

 

 

 

14.) It’s Raining Men: Do you ever sing “It’s Raining Men” while walking through a rain shower? If so this costume is perfect for you! All you’ll need is a rain jacket, some rain boots, and an umbrella. Now you’ll need to print out some pictures of hot guys and hang them from the inside of the umbrella. Then you’re ready for the next rain shower musical or your Halloween party.
