We Love Homecoming!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Cornell chapter.

Homecoming 2011 kicked off last weekend with A Capella United, a concert in Bailey by the different a capella groups on campus. All proceeds from A Capella United went to the United Way of Tompkins County. This year, Dylan Owen, a current Cornellian, was the special guest.

On Saturday, a slew of activities took place, such as the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival. The Mid-Autumn Moon Festival is celebrated by many Asian countries, including China, Korea, and Vietnam. My favourite activity there was eating mooncakes! (Also, the Chinese characters in the first row of this picture stand for Cornell University!)

And of course, the main event of Homecoming was the football game against Bucknell! We won against Bucknell this year 24-13. Go Big Red!
