Celebrating Fall at Apple Fest

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Cornell chapter.

The upstate New York region is famous for its apples. In fact, Cornell scientists are responsible for creating several varieties of popular apples such as Cortland and Liberty. So it really is no surprise that we have Apple Fest. It’s a festival of om nom nom apple products, food from some of the best restaurants in Ithaca, and music from local artists. My favourite part of Apple Fest is drinking copious amounts of cider. (And also watching the IC student promoting WICB dressed in an apple costume.) Why? Because that means Libe Cafe will start offering hot cider soon–perfect for prelim season now that it’s getting cold!
