Late Date

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Colgate chapter.

Late Date is a Thought into Action project, created by Colgate’s very own Katie Rydell’14 and Amara Wilson’14. The two presented the new idea to some big business names during entrepreneur weekend. Check out how the app works and what it’s all about!

Late Date is the best place to find the perfect date for your next event! We take the stress out of finding a plus-one to any range of events, from high school proms to business gatherings.

Finding dates for events can be difficult, especially when you wait until the last minute – trust us, we’ve been there! Let us suggest dates through your friends on Facebook, removing the unfamiliarity from typical online dating.

While we see ourselves as a combination of Paperless Post and Match.com, we are strictly event-driven. Whether you’re hosting an event or looking for a plus-one, Late Date will make this process as easy as possible. After the success at Colgate’s E-weekend, and presenting to a panel of successful Silicon Valley business men, Katie Rydell is spending the summer spreading the word about Late Date and garnering users.
