Getting Back in the Groove of ThingsBy March 27, 2012 - 10:44am Spring break is over and we have 6 weeks of school left. Six weeks, now that may seem like a while, but that’s only a month and a half of five days of classes. Which means that we only have 30 days of potential class days left and if you’re taking a normal schedule that means you probably have about 60 hours total of class left. That is definitely something to be excited about, but it is also something that could make you a little nervous. Not only do you have just 15 hours of each class left to impress your professors, but also do you have just 6 weeks to secure your summer plans. That means you have to buckle down in order to breeze through the end of school. Hopefully this week’s cold air will soon be gone and the spring weather will take over.... |

How To Make a Sunglasses CaseBy March 16, 2012 - 10:00pm This craft is a perfect way to prepare for warm weather ahead! Protect your favorite pair of sunglasses with this easy to make case – and decorate it however you want for a one-of-a-kind accessory! Supplies : A piece of felt or fabric, sewing needle, thread, scissors, and buttons/decorations 1. Cut away excess felt so that the piece of material you are left with is only slightly larger than the size of your glasses. This way, they will not slide around in the case and will be better protected. Fold the felt in half with some extra material left at the top to fold over. READ MORE |

We’re all tire of winter, but the ground is still covered in snow; sunny days make us want to wear a skirt, but it’s still 40 degrees! We want to sit on the Miller quad lawn, but instead stare blankly at the blanket of white covering campus. However, there is one day in March that everyone can look forward too: St. Patrick’s Day! On March 17 (or, in Colby’s case, March 9), the “green” is guaranteed to overpower the “white”. Her Campus is here with some St. Patrick’s Day themed drink ideas to help you on your way to Dog Head greatness. READ MORE |

A Reason We can All be Excited for the Super BowlBy February 5, 2012 - 3:42pm I get excited for the Super Bowl no matter who is playing in it, but boy, when my Patriots are going for the Lombardi Trophy, I am ecstatic. I mean, especially when they’re playing a team like the despicable New York Giants, a team that has robbed us in a Super Bowl once before. Who doesn’t want to see a great football game, right? Or I guess that’s what I used to think. READ MORE |
