1. Bananas

Because they are a given and make all smoothies better, and healthier!

2.Strawberries

The next best thing after bananas? Strawberries. And they will make your smoothies pretty too!

3. Kale

Don’t like the taste but know its good for you? Mix it in with some other delicious ingredients for a green smoothie!

4. Plain Yogurt

Need some liquid in your smoothie but don’t want it to be too liquid? Add some yogurt for some creamyness and to lighten the taste.

5. Blueberries

As someone who hates eating blueberries by themselves, but knows they are good for you, putting them in smoothies is the perfect way to get your blueberry intake.

I am currently senior majoring in Business Administration and Statistics with a track in Finance at Carnegie Mellon University. Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, Enid Blyton and J.K Rowling are a few of my favorite authors. I also love watching British TV shows (Sherlock is my favorite!).
