Summer 2012's Hottest Trends

Summer 2012 is just around the corner and I thought to myself what a better way to procrastinate on some studying by browsing online for the latest Spring/Summer trends. I flipped through runway highlights from Milan, New York, and London, and came up with a couple of general overarching trends for the summertime. I noticed a high volume of pastels, peplum, prints, sheer material, and cropped silhouettes this season. Yes, we’ve definitely seen these trends in the past before, but this year’s combination is quite eclectic and unique. How the runway translates and reflects onto mainstream style and trends is constantly evolving. So, I’m going to compare some high fashion motifs with how they might come into fruition this summer....
