It’s that time of year again: ring week!
That’s right, Clemson is going to put a ring on it (Okay, no more cheesy ring jokes)! Seriously though, ring week is a special time for Clemson students. Our ring has a lot of cool history that you might not have even realized! For example:
-The first Clemson ring was issued in 1896 BUT…
-It wasn’t until 1901 that it could be recognized as a Clemson ring when the C was added
-Every detail of the ring is symbolic to aspects of Clemson University and South Carolina

Clemson is rich in history and tradition, which is one of the reasons I love it here so much. For the rest of your life, your Clemson ring will brand you to the rest of the world as an alumnus of the best school in the country.
In order to receive your ring at the ring ceremony, you must purchase it this week! You can visit Balfour representatives to find your ring size, ask questions, and place your order from 10-4 in the Alumni Center from January 17th -19th. The ring ceremony will take place on March 27th at 6:30pm.
We can’t wait to see all of our collegiates proudly wearing their Clemson rings!
