1. Spill the Beans, Downtown Clemson
They serve everything from ice cream and frozen yogurt to coffee and hot chocolate. Sitting on their signature comfy couches and eating your customized ice cream is a great way to spend an afternoon
2. Y Beach, Lake Hartwell
Located just down the road from Clemson University, Y Beach is a great place to cool down from the South Carolina heat. With a sprawling sand beach and a dock, you are guaranteed a relaxing day (and a tan).
3. Attend a Home Game
It’s one thing to see Clemson Memorial Stadium from the outside but it is a whole other experience being inside. Check the game day schedule and invite your family down one Saturday this fall.
4. South Carolina Botanical Gardens
The Gardens are open everyday from dawn to dusk and are free of charge. If you’re looking for an option that doesn’t require money, then a nice walk or drive through the area might be the perfect place for you.
5. Uptown Art, Downtown Clemson
Everyday they offer canvas painting classes. You can check their calendar on their website to see what they’re painting that night. If you are 21 or over you can even drink wine with your parents while you paint and have a blast doing it!
