“November is when we want to play our best football,” Boyd said. “Hopefully we put a stamp on it today and we’re just going to try to take off from here.” [ after the game vs UVA] The Virginia native played only one half and became the ACC career leader in touchdown- making with the 33 yard pass to Watkins. Favorite Clemson Football Memory:
I don’t really have a favorite football memory because I don’t really get excited about anything. But If I had to pick one , I would say winning the ACC Championship and Bowl Games here at Clemson . And a stand out game was throwing 8 Touchdowns against NC State last Year because it was very video game like. It was a fun game for me.
Favorite Quality about Clemson Girls:
Although they cant cook, most of them have pretty smiles. A pretty smile makes me pretty weak at the knees.
What will you miss about Clemson ?
I will miss the unique experience in itself, like Tiger Walk, Running down The Hill, and the game day atmosphere. Outside of football, I will miss the relationship with my teammates. It’s been a fun ride with these guys.
After a Big Win, Where could someone Find Tajh Boyd:
I have a lot of family that comes in town so I spend time with them first then I normally will celebrate with my teammates and brother TJ. You know just cut loose, relax and have a fun time. I am no different than any other Clemson student after a Big Win; I just happen to be the Quarterback on the Football team too.
Most Embarrassing Moment at Clemson:
Playing Intramural Basketball. I was playing in the playoff game with some friends and I got the ball in a corner. Long story short, I shot the ball behind the hoop. There were a lot of people watching and it was not a pretty sight.
If you could meet anyone Famous who would it be?
I would love to meet the Gonzalez Twins at Kansas University. But outside of sports, I would like to meet Steven King or Steven Spielberg. They are creative, unique and think outside the box. I would love to see what’s going on in their heads and how they think because of their creativity.
How do you want most people to remember you by?
If people remember me by one thing only, I’d want it to be my smile.
He is known all over campus as TB tha QB or simply Tajh Boyd. As the starting Quarterback at Clemson in his final year, of course everyone wants a little inside scoop about him.
