3. Why you chose Clemson University

I chose Clemson University because it feels like home. I fell in love with the school spirit and the excitement of the campus. Clemson offered me everything I was looking for in a university. It had a great academic reputation, insane school spirit, and a family where I felt I belonged.

4. Favorite thing about writing for Her Campus Clemson?

I am so excited to begin writing for Her Campus Clemson! I have never written for something like this before, and I’m stoked to put into words my love for all things Clemson.

5. What else are you involved in on campus?

I am involved in TigerPaw Productions, Dixon Fellows, the University Dance Company, and the Honors Community Service Group.

6. Favorite Clemson restaurant/bar

I love Spill the Beans! My favorite ice cream combo is their vanilla ice cream with cookie dough and brownie bits. It’s absolutely delicious!

7. What do you do in your free time?

In my free time, I love to go to a dance class or to Fike for a workout. I also love hanging out with my friends in the dorm eating junk food and watching movies.

8. Celebrity crush:

Scott Eastwood

9. What fun things did you do this summer?

This summer, I worked at dance studio teaching dance intensive camps. Before I left for Clemson, I also choreographed several dances for their competition team for the 2015-2016 dance season. I love the staff at the studio and of course, all the kids! I also went on vacation to the beach. My best friend invited me to spend a week with her family in Sea Isle City, New Jersey. I spent an entire week lying on the beach during the day and spending time on the boardwalks at night. It is always a great time!

10. Favorite Clemson tradition:

I love when the team runs down the hill before the football game. They don’t call it the most exciting 25 seconds in college football for nothing!

11. Best first date you have been on?

My best first date actually happened on the other side of the world in Australia. It started out as being platonic, just two people getting to know each other. We went hiking to one of the area’s lookouts and ended up sitting and talking for 2 hours. As we watched the sun set, something just shifted, and we both recognized it. We ended up going out to dinner and gelato afterwards, and we continued to talk for hours. It definitely ended up being a date by the end of the night.

I think the best part of the date was how naturally it unfolded. And the person had a major role in that. He was sweet, honest, and respectful. There were no facades, and the date just kind of happened unexpectedly. And I think that was my favorite part. I learned that sometimes the best dates and people take you by surprise.

12. What do you want to do in your career?

My dream career would allow me to travel all over the world. I want to visit as many continents and countries as I possibly can.

13. Current favorite fashion trend?

I love Alex and Ani bracelets! My best friend gave me my first one a few years ago, and I have started a small collection. I wear mine all the time!
