Books to Read Before They Become Movies

No one wants to be missing out on the next blockbuster movie. Especially when it is a recent rendition of a best selling book!  Most of our favorite movies stem from the most popular books they can’t keep on the shelves. If your not into the book scene but still want to be in the loop make sure to check out the books below before they hit the theatres!

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green:

For those of you who have been on pinterest lately I’m sure you have seen the heart throbbing quotes from author John Green! In June of 2014 Green’s love story is coming to theatres. The two main characters Hazel and Gus aren’t your normal lovers. They fell in love in a cancer support group.  Their story will bring you tears so make sure you read the book so you are prepared for the movie!

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins

Katniss is back! The adventure is back on as the victors are now back in their home district. The new exciting and an absolute must read! The adventure breaks all the rules this time. November 22nd, 2013 is the release date so brush up on your favorite characters! May the odds be ever in your favor

Uglies by Scott Westerfeld

When children are born they are considered Uglies until their 16th birthday. Then they are transformed into the Pretties. This transformation is much anticipated by the youth. But why is society like this? What exactly do they do to make you pretty? Read the book to find out! The movie is just beginning its production and there isn’t a set date so read this best seller before you can’t find it on the shelves soon!

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

A murder mystery with a twisting plot change half way through the novel. Find out why a wife has gone missing on her 5th Wedding Anniversary.  It’s been the talk of the “pop-cultured” book clubs and bonus, it’s starting Ben Afflack (eye candy).  It’s projected to hit theaters next October.

The Wolf of Wall Street by Jordan Belfort

What sounds better than a movie staring hunks Leonardo Dicaprio and Matthew McConaughey? A movie filled with scandal, Manhattan, and Wall Street. This is a story about a young man who becomes a multi-millionaire off illegal business in the New York Stock Exchange. This thrilling, party scene of a movie will hit theaters this Christmas.
