Hardin & Sirrine Basements

Who knew basements were such a good alternative to the library?!  I always go to these two basements if I have an hour between classes.  There is low foot traffic and in Sirrine, there are computers and printers!  These are definitely chill places to get some work done alone.

2nd Floor of Coop

I think we all know the 2nd floor of the library is basically a party.  It’s the only floor that doesn’t follow the “get more quiet as you go down the floors” rule.  If you’re looking for someone during the day, you can pretty much find him or her here.  It’s definitely a good place to relax with friends and “do work.”  There are also study rooms to work with group projects!

Starbucks

Hallelujah for Starbucks FINALLY coming to campus.  I know some of my friends who basically live here.  It’s bigger than your average Starbucks with lots of seating to meet with a professor, friends, or just grab a Pumpkin Spice Latte and cram for your test!  PS it opens at 6:30 am and closes at 1 am!

Hendrix Lounge

This area was just redone a couple years ago to allow for a more conducive study environment as well as social area.  There are tables, a big TV, and comfy chairs and couches.  Not to mention, it is right next to Einstein Bagels!  Yum!

Academic Success Center

I think this study area is so underrated on campus.  It is so nice and completely new.  It is generally very quiet, just like the Cooper dungeon, and they also hold many SI sessions there.

Go check it out if you haven’t already!
