Why you chose Clemson University

To be honest, I don’t really know. I transferred as a sophomore and applied

to three schools, Clemson was the right “party to academic” ratio. I applied

and was accepted without ever having been to the state of South Carolina.

Favorite thing about writing for Her Campus Clemson

I’m new to Her Campus but I think I am going to enjoy being able to write

about things that I believe are relevant topics.

What else are you involved in on campus?

I am a member of Delta Zeta sorority and Alpha Epsilon Delta pre-

professional health honors society.

Favorite Clemson restaurant/bar

I don’t really have a favorite; I kind of just go wherever the wind takes me.

What do you do in your free time?

I study a lot, but when I don’t have to study I’m probably tanning, working

out or binge watching Netflix.

Go to drink downtown

I’m the worst at making decisions so I never know what to get when I’m

downtown, I either end up with a margarita or a vodka soda.

Celebrity crush:

Hmm…probably Luke Bryan.

Favorite Clemson tradition:

My favorite Clemson tradition is anything football related.

Ideal/best first date you have been on

I’m a pretty chill person so I don’t really expect much. I guess it would just be

dinner and the fact that the person I was with was actually respectful.

What do you want to do in your career?

I want to become a medical physician. I’m not really sure which field yet but

I’m leaning towards radiology or pediatrics.

If you have studied abroad where did you go and what was your favorite

thing about it?

I had an untraditional study abroad experience. I went to Costa Rica and

Panama for two weeks a few summers ago. It was untraditional in the sense

that it was not a classroom based study abroad trip, we set up medical clinics

in the most remote areas of these countries.

What fun things did you do this summer?

I went to CMA Fest in Nashville, Tennessee this summer and it was so much

fun. I fell in love with the city of Nashville.

Hey! My name's Liz and I'm a Sigma Kappa at Clemson University! I love my school more than anything in the world and love sharing that with y'all!!
