Welcome Back Tigers! HC Clemson extends a special welcome to the Class of 2021 as they join the Clemson family.
It’s been 115 days since we finished our last exam and packed up our dorms/apartments for the summer. From there, our tigers spanned across the globe interning here, volunteering there, and adventuring everywhere in-between. Now, 3 months and 23 days later, we’re back and already this semester is off to a great start.
1. We’re still National Champions!
We’ll never get tired of saying it, watching it, or talking about it. Clemson won the national championship this year and we’re going into the season even more hyped than ever. This time when we drove into Clemson the HUGE highway sign greeted us and reminded us that we were entering the territory of the national champions and home to the best university in the country. Chills still go down our backs when we re-watch that amazing catch by Hunter Renfrow and when we walk past Death Valley. This weekend’s game can’t come fast enough especially since it’s another day we get to relive that championship game!
2. Clemson experienced solar totality!
What a way to start the semester? Clemson saw one of the best views of the solar eclipse last week and I can think of no better place to experience solar totality than with my Clemson family. Thousands of people flocked to Clemson to view this event and it definitely made the start of the semester that much more memorable! After all, solar eclipses don’t happen every day.
3. Her Campus Clemson reached Pink Level!
For those of you who may have missed the announcement over the summer, Her Campus Clemson has officially reached PINK LEVEL STATUS!!! This means our chapter is in the top 20% of Her Campus chapters. We can’t thank our writers, exec board, supporters, and YOU, our readers, enough for an incredible 2016-2017 year. HC Clemson is even more determined than ever to make this semester that much more amazing! Watch out for us this semester, Her Campus Clemson is ready to make its mark.
