Signs You Are Almost in TigerTown
As students, we will make the trek to and from Clemson multiple times over the
course of our four (or five) years. It becomes a routine and a pattern. We feel we
would be able to find our way blindfolded (though I don’t recommend that if you are
the one driving…safety first). We feel we know the landscape of these hills like the
actual back of our hand. So to help those who have yet to memorize the roads that
lead home, let me help you with some signs you are almost in TigerTown.
1) Long sections of interstate that stretch for miles
2) Multiple texts from your college besties counting down the minutes until y’all
are reunited
3) Trees, lots of trees
4) Every other car has at least one Clemson bumper sticker
5) Passing through the big city of Greenville
6) Getting of exit 19B
7) Passing the Smokin Pig
8) The Experimental Forest
9) The orange pawprints on the road
10) The Clemson snapchat geofilters reappearing when you open the snaps
11) Spotting Tillman
12) Driving up to your dorm
13) Uncontainable joy billowing in your chest at being in TigerTown, our home
away from home <3
