Come join STAND and J Street to celebrate Genocide Awareness and Prevention Month! Stop by for a FREE slushie and some advocacy on Tuesday April 24th from 12-3pm right outside the Bistro on the patio. Since April 24th is Armenian genocide remembrance day, we will be writing postcards to President Obama to formally call the atrocities committed in Armenia "genocide" We will also be calling our representatives to cosponsor Representative McGovern's Sudan Peace, Security and Accountability Act (HR 4169) to end the human rights violations committed by Omar al-Bashir in the Nuba Mountains. Also, stop by to find out more about what STAND & J Street are doing on campus! Come enjoy a free slushie while promoting social change. See you then!
