What has it been like being a captain on the team this year? What are your responsibilities?

It is very exciting, especially since we are growing and watching our team improve every day. Being with this group of women is extremely rewarding.

Our responsibilities are making sure everyone on the team is taking care of herself, is happy, and helping anyone that needs it.

Are you excited for the season to start?

We are very excited for the spring season and the regattas to start.

What’s one of your favorite memories of your years on the Crew Team?

One of our favorite memories was when we were in Cocoa Beach for spring training and an alligator surfaced next to the boat.

Last spring, we also broke two school records at NEWMACS, which was extremely exciting.
