Set during WWII, this book follows the stories of two young people, Marie Laure and Werner, as they navigate their youth through these tragic times. Though it’s a bit of a more serious read, it sheds light on what life was like living during this period.
- The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
Looking to relive your childhood? What better way than to re-read Harry Potter? A nice, lighter read, it’ll be perfect to relax on the beach with!
- Anything by Sarah Dessen
If you’re looking for another easy beach read, definitely check out Sarah Dessen. Her easy-to-read romance novels are perfect for lazy beach days. Some of our favorites include Along for the Ride and Lock and Key.
- The Selection series by Kiera Cass
This is a great series for those who like dystopian-esque novels. The series follows America Singer, a girl who has been Selected for the chance to win the heart of Prince Maxon. Filled with romance, suspense, and a bit of humor, it’s a wonderful series for anyone looking for something out of the norm.
