The Office of Intercultural Affairs would like to invite all children, big and small, for a discussion on growing up. Chocolate milk and cookies will accompany a debate on the pros and cons of being a grown up, what it means to be a grown up, and what growing up really entails. We will also look at the societal and cultural differences in perceptions of adulthood, parental supervision, and independence. For those who are worried about the seriousness of the conversation, we will provide coloring books and crayons.
