This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Cincinnati chapter.

Ault Park – Hyde Park

Ault Park, the fourth largest park in Cincinnati,  is located in Hyde Park, on the East side. With Carl’s Deli just down the street, it is the perfect place to picnic with friends and family. There are hiking trails throughout and around the park that are great for walks with your dog. Finally, a must-see pavilion provides an outstanding view.

Alms Park – Mt. Lookout

Alms Park is located in the Mt. Lookout/Columbia-Tusculum area on the east side of Cincinnati. With Lunken Airport located within a mile, there is an observation area at Alms, where you can sit and watch the planes take off and enjoy a coffee or nice picnic with friends and family.

Eden Park – Mt. Adams

Eden Park is located in Mt. Adams near the Cincinnati Art Museum, Playhouse in the Park, and the Krohn’s Conservatory. It is a lovely location to take a walk with your dogs or stroll by Mirror Lake and smell the flowers.

Friendship Park – Downtown

Friendship Park’s official name is Theodore M. Berry International Friendship Park and was named after Cincinnati’s first African American mayor, Theodore M. Berry. It is located near downtown, on the Ohio riverfront within walking distance of Smale Park.  It is a great park to run through or ride along by bike.

Mt. Airy Forest- Mt. Airy

Mt. Airy Forest is located on the west side of Cincinnati in Mt. Airy. It is most well known for its huge tree house, where you can overlook the forest from the treetops. There is also a disc golf course at the end of the forest and many trails to hike through, which is a must-do activity for this spring!
