The Stages of Having an Impossible Crush

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Cincinnati chapter.

I feel in like almost every class I have had (and from talking to my friends, I am not alone) there is a boy who becomes my impossible crush.

You know, the boy who you have never even talked to but you get to see him every T/Th at 3:30?

You have absolutely no idea his name, major, interests or anything? But like, you have imagined what your conversations would be like?

And it doesn’t help that you have heard probably multiple stories about people who met their husband/wife during a college class?

It also doesn’t help that there are random statistics out there that by the age of 21 you have a high chance of having already met your soulmate.

You continue to see him in class for the next 15 weeks and have yet to have a conversation…

But… your best friend knows about him.

At the end of the 15 weeks, you regret not having had said anything.

But what would you have talked about besides how to utilize social media in marketing.

In the end, you both go your separate ways but he will always be the boy from Marketing class….
