Major: Finance
Fun Fact: I’ve been to 34 states
Campus Involvements: Gamma Phi Beta, Rally Cats, Circle of Excellence, Student Orientation Leader’15
Her Campus: How was it being a SOL?
Sarah Mayer: I had the best summer of my life as a SOL. I got to work with some of the best people on campus and they have become some of my closest friends. I learned a lot about the University and was able to grow tremendously as a leader.
HC: What would you say to someone who wants to be a SOL?
SM: I would recommend it to anyone! Go to an information event and apply.
HC: If you had the time, what’s something else you wish you could be involved in?
SM: I’m hoping to get more involved with the University. I miss being around people that have the same passion for UC as I do.
HC: What made you come to UC instead of going somewhere else?
SM: I grew up loving the city of Cincinnati. Being a business major it made sense to be right next to such a big business hub. I knew UC would help me get real world experience while in college.
HC: After you graduate what do you plan on doing?
SM: At some point I plan on getting my masters. I may work a few years after I graduate before going back to school. At this point I see myself working in corporate finance.
