Thanksgiving Reflection: HC Chatham Writer Julie Victain

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Chatham chapter.

Each day leading up to Thanksgiving, we’ll feature a reflection on the holiday by a Chatham student.

HC Chatham Writer Julie Victain:

“My favorite thing/memory about Thanksgiving was waking up super early to watch the parades in the morning. Then my Grandma, Mom, sisters, and I would work on dinner. After all of my family came over and ate, we would go to a local light display (Hartwood Acres) and we would drive through blasting Christmas music. Singing at the top of our lungs, we would come home with crackling voices and watching Christmas movies until we fell asleep. Then we would go shopping on Black Friday (my real favorite holiday).”
