Review of Rimmel London “The Only 1” Lipsticks and “Colour Precise 24-Hour Wear” Eyeliner

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Chatham chapter.

Hello, Beautiful people! It is I, Destynie, here yet again with another fabulous review. Today, we’ll be taking a look at a couple products from the Rimmel London line.

Let’s take a look at our first product(s):

Rimmel London “The Only 1” lipsticks

These lipsticks promise “all-in-one lipstick with supreme long-lasting color, comfort, moisture and wear.” I will say these lipsticks are very creamy and moisturizing, I like the way they felt on my lips. However, they have a perfume smell that I wasn’t too fond of.

Enough rambling, on to the swatches!

First up, we have “Pink A Punch”, this is bright neon pink:

1 layer vs. 3 layers

Next we have, “It’s A Keeper”. This is a light shimmery pink

Finally, we have, “Peachy Beachy”

Ok! Let’s get into the pros and cons

Pros:

  • Moisturizing
  • Vibrant color
  • A lot of product

Cons:

  • Not long lasting
  • Too creamy
  • Not opaque enough

Overall ratting: 6/10

These bad boys retail from $6.29 at Walmart to $6.99 at Ulta.

Up next, we have the “Colour Precise 24 Hour Wear” eyeliner in the color “002 blue”. This liner promises to be:

  • 24hr Wear
  • Heat & Humidity proof / Sweat Proof
  • Non-staining & Quick drying

This is probably my favorite blue eyeliner. It has a felt tip that creates smooth and precise lines. This eyeliner gives me LIFE. It is an absolute dream to work with. The color is a true blue; it’s very pigmented. It doesn’t stain or smudge. The only con I can come up with is the fact that this gorgeous liner isn’t waterproof.  This eyeliner retails for $5.47 to $5.99. There are currently only 3 colors within this collection: white, black and blue.

Here are some photos of me wearing the liner:

So that’s all for this review! Hope you all enjoyed!
