Her Campus Chatham: What are you studying right now at Chatham?
Maura Creighton: Arts management with a focus in media
How long have you been creating art?
Since I was little!
How would you describe your style of art?
Illustration with a lot of line and pattern, and geometric shapes.
What inspired you to launch your Redbubble shop?
I love the idea of making art accessible t everyone, and redbubble allows that to happen really easily with all of the different products they have available.
What is your favorite product that you sell?
Stickers!
What is your ultimate goal for the shop?
I don’t make that much money off of it, so it’s really just for the satisfaction of seeing people exited to have my art on a phone case or a sticker on their laptop.
You’re also a writer for Chatham’s chapter of Odyssey. What sort of content do you write for them?
So far I’ve only done two articles, but I’m probably going to focus on reviewing new music because I love music as much as I love art.
What would your dream job be?
I guess my dream job would ultimately be to work with bands and direct music videos, design artwork for them, and photograph them (yes, all of it!).
How has Chatham changed your life?
Chatham has shown me that art is an actual career choice that could go well.
What do you love most about Chatham?
How easy it is to make friends.
