Emily Hinson

Year: 2017

Major and How You Chose It:

Social Work: I’m very passionate about helping people so they can live happy lives.

Hometown and What You Love About It:

Elizabethtown, PA. E-town is in between Hershey and Lancaster. I love the outlet shopping in Lancaster and of course, the chocolate in Hershey!

Why did you choose Chatham?

Chatham has such a unique learning style and history. It has a beautiful campus and a perfect location.

What do you love most about being a Chatham student?

I love being a Chatham student, because I am prepared to be a strong and confident woman for after I graduate.

You have a friend coming to Pittsburgh for the day, and you can only take them to do one thing. What would it be?

I’d take them to a Pittsburgh Pirates game because of the fun and relaxing environment, and it provides a great view!

Childhood Dream Job:

I always wanted to be a teacher. I used my sister as a student, and I would give her lessons.

Current Dream Job:

I would absolutely love to work at a zoo because I love animals, and I think it would be such a neat work atmosphere.
