It’s Senior Week, a time to celebrate those of us who have been at Carolina the longest. I know what you’re thinking: how do I show off how much I love UNC while I’m celebrating my second-to-last week of school? Well, Her Campus Chapel Hill has you covered. Here’s a Senior Week “Lookbook”! (Please note that this is not your typical lookbook; it focuses on school spirit rather than fancy Pinterest clothes, and it’s not meant to be taken too seriously!)
All Those Free T-Shirts You’ve Collected Over the Years
Have you been collecting free t-shirts at every event you’ve attended over the last four years? Then now is your time to shine! I, personally, will have to change multiple times per day (or wear several shirts at once!) if I want to showcase all my free shirts this week. Get creative with it! And maybe turn them into a quilt once you graduate.
The Classic Tar Heel Sweats
You’ve seen them every laundry day, midterm period, weekend, and finals week: the classic navy blue sweats with the Carolina blue print running down the side of one leg. Unfortunately, Student Stores doesn’t seem to have them right now (at least, not online), but here’s a good substitute if you haven’t managed to acquire a pair while you’ve been here.
UNC Socks
If you’re going for a more understated look, show off your UNC socks! Wear them with slides and basketball shorts for a flashback to middle school, or hide them under your jeans for a subtle pop of Carolina. Either way, when you catch sight of your UNC socks, remember that it’s a #GDTBATH
Carolina Sunnies
Enjoy this beautiful weather we’re having while it lasts! Go out in the sunshine without having to squint with these amazing UNC sunglasses. They’re great for showing off you school spirit and hiding the dark circles under your eyes that you earned while studying for finals.
A UNC Water Bottle
True Tar Heel seniors drink nothing but water from the Old Well out of a Carolina bottle. Just kidding! But having a mug or water bottle branded with the colors and logo of the best school on earth can remind you to drink more water while showing off your school spirit!
Emotions
Senior Week would not be complete without the rollercoaster of emotions. Tears of joy and sadness will compete for space on your face, and that’s perfectly fine! It’s a look this week! Reminisce on the good times, and look forward to the future. It’s okay to cry a little (or a lot)!
A UNC Banner
Finally, get yourself a UNC blanket, flag, or banner, and wear it as a cape. Show the world that you’re a superhero and that you love UNC! Be a kid again before going off into the adult world.
