Campus Cutie: Mandi Biondi ‘18

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Chapel Hill chapter.

If that picture didn’t already win you over, her heart of gold will. First-year Mandi Biondi has had no trouble jumping headfirst into the college experience.

Year: First-Year

Major: Undecided

Hometown: Denver, North Carolina

HC: What all have you gotten involved with since coming to Carolina?

MB: CollegeLife, Tuesday Night Worship, and Scuba Diving.

HC: Whoa, scuba diving? That’s pretty cool. What’s that like?

MB: We take a course and do learning dives in the pool. At the end, we get a certificate and then go on a trip to get our certification!

HC: You’re just getting started here, but what’s been the best part of UNC life so far?

MB: The best part of coming to UNC is definitely the amazing people I’ve met through clubs, study groups, classes, and those I live with! Everyone is so passionate, friendly, and kind.

HC: What’s your favorite place on campus?

MB: The Arboretum.

HC: Tell us about the best or weirdest experience you’ve had since coming here.

MB: Franklin Street. That is all.

HC: If you had to pick a quote to live by, what would it be?

MB: “Life is full of beauty. Notice it.”
