H.C ~ Hello! So to start, how was your thanksgiving break? What are somethings you are thankful for?
My thanksgiving break wasn’t the best but I am thankful for my life, health & strength. I’m thankful for my family for always supporting me & my coaches for always believing in me.
H.C ~ As a junior, how has your semester for school and basketball been?
As a junior my semester has been amazing I haven’t been to school in two years so it’s a new experience & my first time ever at a HBCU!
H.C ~ I saw that you went to East Mississippi Community College. What is the difference in playing at a university versus a community college?
The difference from playing at a junior college & university is more hype more support and better organization!
H.C ~ Just recently the men’s basketball team won against Georgia College. How did it feel to win that award after that win?
Winning the award was a surprise very happy & appreciative especially after sitting out two years it was great getting the award.
H.C ~ Do you plan to play basketball professionally? What would be your dream team to play on?
I do plan to play professional ball, eventually overseas or even better the NBA. It’s always been a dream to play for my home team Miami Heat or Orlando Magic.
H.C ~ Also what is your major and what do you plan to have as a career?
My major is Business Marketing and as a career I’m still trying to figure out the right career path.
H.C ~ As a student athlete, what has been some things you had to sacrifice in order to keep your grades up while being on team?
As a student athlete I’ve had to sacrifice hanging out with friends and partying to keep my grades up.
H.C ~ Other than basketball what are some things you enjoy doing?
Other than basketball I enjoy playing piano & drums, listening to my old school music & cooking.
