Once upon a time, not long ago…. a set of collegiette angels set a goal for all to follow

Just a little pixie dust and a lot of Mickey’s sorcery

They brought gifts and music for all the princes and princesses…

…….you’d think they were rich for answering every wish

And there it was, Operation GlamSquad: High School Prom Edition

A magical event sponsored by Her Campus CAU, Breaking the Cycle, and FeliciTEA!

Operation Glam Squad provided high school seniors with the following:prom dresses, tuxedos, shoes, and makeup and hair services. All hands were on deck ofr this project and we were excited to see the many CAU students lending their talents to making PROM NIGHT a night to never forget! In addition to beauty services, volunteers also shared stories of their prom nights and tips to keeping your face fresh and gown clean all night long. 

This was a very humbling, heartwarming, and amazing experience and HCCAU is so proud to have been a part of it, turning dreams into realities.

Kayla Antoinette Walker has always been an ambitious and motivated young woman and has always set high standards for herself. She is an aspiring event/wedding coordinator majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing at the illustrious Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA. She chose to attend Clark Atlanta after graduating Valedictorian of her high school class at Carver High School in Columbus, GA. As a senior, Kayla has a passion for mentoring and wants to bring a sense of pride and empowerment to the women of Clark Atlanta to encourage them to "be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire".
