Easy Tips for Fresh and Fashionable Carnaval Looks

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Casper Libero chapter.

Getting ready for Carnaval could be seen as a challenge for those who aren’t that blessed by creativity. So we have a reason to help the Carnaval lovers and be like a fairy godmother just in time.

First of all, you have to consider the place’s issues that you are gonna spend the most of your time. Will it be at the street 100% under the sun? Will it be at the sambodrome? Will it be at the club? Day or night? Both?! Alright. We can give you some help!

There are a few characteristics that your dress code should fit:

1. It should be comfortable!

You are gonna have to pay attention and take too much effort to have fun. Nothing that takes you out of the carnaval vibes should be there – and if you can avoid it, then is perfect!

If the outfit that you are thinking is too tight – or too large, at the point of taking the risk of loosing it – maybe it is better to re-think or make some adjustments.

2. It should be funny of using it!

So many girls – and boys too – can cede the pressure of their friends of using something that they acctually don’t like or see fun in using it. So here is our advice: do not do it! The first big rule of carnaval is to have fun, so why leave your dressroom without doing it?!

Besides that, this can take us to another topic: your carnaval look can be really hot. But just use it in this meanig if you fell comfortable – not to impress others, alright?

3. You don’t really need to spend a lot of money on it!

There are too many – easy and cheap – options of DIY for Carnaval. You can customize your clothes or your father’s t-shirt, or just use what you have in your wardrobe and by – or even do – an accessory that will give the magic of carnaval for your look.
