There is no excuse for not eating well even with the tight schedule of a college student and intern. It is essential to eat right so you have the energy to do everything that you need to do.                        

Here are a few ideas of snacks that are either quick to prepare or to just grab when you are on the go:

Fruits

Fresh fruit is loaded with fiber, antioxidants and nutrients. They contain many vitamins and minerals, like vitamin C and potassium. If you prefer, make a smoothie, it is quick and will provide you all the health benefits.

Nuts & Dried Fruits

Nuts are one of the best sources of healthy fats, They are also packed with protein and nutrients. Make sure not to consume those with sugary or salty toppings.

Dried fruits are also a great source of fiber, vitamins and minerals.            

Avoid added sweeteners, only the fruit should be listed on the ingredient list. Beware that it does have more calories than fresh fruit, so measure your portions.
