The Vagina Monologues

Thursday, February 23, 2012
When:
Saturday, March 10, 2012 - 12:00am - Sunday, March 11, 2012 - 12:00am
If you’re in search of a great theatrical performance, but would rather spend your hard-earned cash on a good cause than tickets to an expensive show, The Vagina Monologues will serve you well. This March, Carleton’s Vaginas Against Violence will be putting on an entertaining, yet meaningful show about the sugar, spice, and hardships that come with being a woman. This Carleton performance will be running in support of V-Day, a global organization that works to stop violence against women and, as such, all proceeds raised will benefit the Ottawa Rape Crisis Center, as well as the V-Day Organization itself. You can purchase your tickets between February 27th and March 9th in the Atrium for just $10, or for $12 at the door. And if that’s not enough to convince you, there will be a delicious bake sale at the ticket table, where you can try the famous Chocolate Pussy Pop. The show will be taking place at Minto Centre, in Bell Theatre, but will only be running for three short performances. So, get your tickets and your desserts fast, and support local Carleton talent in their V-Day efforts for all women.
