A little Faithe goes a long way

She always sports a smile and has an encouraging word to share with each and every person she meets. Reverend Faithe Beam is a wonderful role model to Campbell Collegiettes™ of how a strong, Christian, young woman should live her life. Life is not all business for this Collegiette™ role model, however. For Reverend Beam’s 40th birthday she went skydiving, and describes the experience as “amazing!” With her positive outlook and strong faith, it comes as no shock that Reverend Beam is this week’s Campus Celebrity. Cody Meacham: 2011 Harvest Court Queen

            In all likelihood, Cody Meachem is a familiar face to nearly all Collegiettes™ around Campbell. This Collegiette™ is actively involved in many organizations on campus, from Campus Actvity Board to Campus Recreation. HC Campbell Cupcake Wars Winners

In the world of dorms and hectic schedules, finding Collegiettes™ that can cook is next to impossible. Her Campus Campbell hosted the Cupcake Wars a few weeks ago in an effort to encourage Campbell Collegiettes™ to take a break from the books and pull out their oven mitts for some fun, competitive cupcake baking. However, Campbell Collegiettes™ are lucky enough to have an inspiring, friendly face on campus, Miss Erin Dickert. Erin wears an immense array of hats from sister and daughter to Pharmacy student and President of Phi Delta Chi, adding to the amazement of how this Collegiette™ keeps such a positive attitude. Have you ever planned to be a ballerina or an artist, just to come to college and realize you’re your dream job was just not practical? Well, never fear Collegiettes™, Campbell English Professor, Dr. Elizabeth Rambo was in same shoes when she was in college. It took Dr. Rambo a couple of tries before realizing her dream of being a teacher. From Africa to Scotland, Dr. Rambo is also an avid world traveler who is especially passionate about anything dealing with Arthurian Legends, Chaucer, and Celtic Studies. When Dr. Rambo is not teaching Campbell Collegiettes™, she can be found watching Hollywood movies or reading.   READ MORE

Don’t be fooled, Collegiettes™, behind her gorgeous smile Campbell University Cheerleader Lauren Dixon has a heart of gold. Whether it is lending a hand in club activities or cheering the Fighting Camels on at sporting events, this Campus Celebrity spreads Campbell pride everywhere she goes. In addition to cheering for Campbell, Lauren also helped get Campbell’s Dance Team off the ground and morphed into the skilled group of dancers that adorn the sidelines at games today. Despite her hectic schedule she also makes time to teach dance classes in Fuquay-Varina, talk about a well-rounded Campbell Collegiette™!

April Paszkiewicz: A Door Always Open

There is one woman on this campus who can find any answer, brighten any day, and be an inspiration to everyone around her.  April Paszkiewicz has one of the biggest hearts of any person to ever become a member of the Campbell University family.  She attended North Carolina State University during the same time as Philip Rivers, to whom she has quite a bit of allegiance.  AP, as she is so fondly known as to Campbell students, completed her graduate school education at Campbell University.  She is incredibly hard working and an excellent role model to the young women at Campbell.
