It’s about that time again! Midterms at Cal State L.A. have begun and although we all dread this time of the quarter, we will always get a kick out of the repetitive but true sayings we hear that comes up when chatting about the M-word. If midterms have already started for you, then take a short break from studying and check out these sayings that will force you to laugh for the next few minutes! Here are 10 things that go through your mind during midterms.
1. We all have that one professor who schedules more than one midterm for that one class.
2. We get a little relieved but still nervous when the professor announces the exam will be graded on a curve.
3. This is how we feel when we just can’t take all the studying anymore and our brains become fried!
4. And this is what goes through our mind when we come in the classroom, sit down, and look at the exam after we didn’t study…

6. Sometimes we just do not have the time or energy
7. And other times, we just plain get distracted
8. Some professors just like to bombard us for fun
9. And some professors like to psych us out
10. And then we pass the exam!
