HC: What do people say is your best quality?Tessa Goodwin: My passion and joy for life

HC: What are you involved with on campus?TG: I am in a research lab for marine biology, am in the Cal Poly Symphony, and lead a Bible study through Campus Crusade.

HC: Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?TG: Hopefully, I will have a job working with humpback whales doing research, living by the ocean, and have three cats.

HC: Who has had the greatest influence on your life?TG: My older sister, Dory, who is basically my other half and best friend.

HC: If we were to give you a million dollars, what is the first thing you would spend it on?TG: I would do some major traveling and see the world!

HC: If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you go and why?TG: I would go to Costa Rica so that I could go and use my new scuba diving certification! Also, they have a lot of rare birds and fascinating wildlife (not to mention gorgeous beaches).

HC: What is your ideal first date experience?TG: Being surprised and taken to some kind of an adventure outside!

HC: What is an ultimate deal breaker in a relationship?TG: Not being active or outdoorsy (or not liking peanut butter).
