Greek Week- Mock Rock

The time of year when all Greeks come together for a great cause is here! With a variety of events all week, the final and biggest event, Mock Rock, is Friday at 7pm in McGurik Arena. This event is where all the groups have prepared a dance routine to compete for the Greek Week Champion Trophy. A sorority and fraternity have all been paired, making several teams ready to compete. All events throughout the week benefit the Jenna Kast Believe in Miracles Foundation, a charity created in 2005 to help those with cancer, live out their dreams and get to do things they never would have thought possible. Their main goal is to keep a smile on a child's face while they battle something terrible, such as cancer. READ MORE...

Slut Walk

  Apr 13, 2013- 2:00-5pm (registration begins at 11) Cost: $5 donations accepted   The Organization of Women Leaders (OWLs) brings the world-renowned walk back to Centrals campus. The SlutWalk is a march held to stop victim blaming and to spread awareness of sexual assault and gender violence. The walk began after a Toronto police officer told high school women not to dress like “sluts” in order to avoid rape or sexual harassment. Little did he know, but the small remark turned into a feminist revolution. READ MORE

Come out to The Cabin and support The Fashion Association of Merchandising and Design (FAMD) as they prepare for Threads, their annual spring fashion show. This is a Pre-Threads event where we can all show our support to the students who have put countless number of hours into their designs.  You must be 21+ to attend this event where you can enjoy delicious $2 you-call-its until midnight! Condom Casino Tour

Location: UC Rotunda Who: CMU Program Board What: The Condom Casino Tour will start 10 games using over 2,000 condoms as poker chips. Similar to an actual casino, this event includes games such as: STD Bingo, Beer Goggle Black Jack and the Lucky in Love Dice.  Why:  Condom Casino Tour allows students to learn about safe sex, sexual consequences, sexual choices and sexual identity.
