Campus Celebrity: Jason Gagnon

For the CMU students in the Apparel Merchandising and Design majors the name, Jason Gagnon is one most if not all are familiar with.  He has made quite a name for himself throughout his college career at Central and plans on continuing his awe-inspiring work at this year’s Threads Fashion Show.  Jason has become quite the pro the past 3 years as a designer and producer for the Threads Fashion Show held on CMU’s campus.  Being that this is his 4th and last year performing in Threads, Jason plans on going out with a bang.  There are no chances he isn’t willing to take and hopes to impress the judges as much as he did in years past. Campus Celebrity: Blake Hibbits

  Blake Hibbits, a freshman here at CMU, says playing college basketball at a Division I school has always been his dream.  Fortunately for him, he was able to make that dream come true.  Not only does Blake play for the CMU basketball team, but he also starts and is the second leading point scorer. Blake is from Hudsonville, MI, where he played high school basketball, baseball, and football.  Originally, he was committed to play basketball at Samford, a private school in Alabama.  After the coach was fired from Samford, he decided to come to Central.  Blake explained that college basketball is a lot different from high school basketball, because everyone is at good making the game more physical.
