Bob’s Burgers was one of those shows that I had always heard my friends talking about but had never given a chance myself. Once I watched the first episode, I was instantly hooked. Not only is the show hilarious, but each character resembles the type of people you already have, or eventually will, come across in college. If you and your friends were the characters in this show, this is who they would be.
1. Bob Belcher

Bob is that friend who tells you exactly how it is – no embellishments, just honesty. He’s that person who would rather study than go out to party. However, with a little convincing he can easily be influenced to not be a stick in the mud and to break the rules a little. Everybody needs a “Bob” in their life.
2. Linda Belcher

Linda is the sassy college friend who is not afraid to speak her mind in class. She is loyal and will do anything for her friends and loved ones. She’s the girl who will yell at any guy on the street who harasses her or her friends. Linda Belcher is the type of gal you want to meet in college.
3. Tina Belcher

Tina Belcher… where do I even begin. She is your quirky, funny, loving friend. She is the girl that you can’t stay mad at for long. She is always there for you, and she’s eager to scope out hot guys at parties. Tina is the ultimate wing woman!
4. Gene Belcher

Gene is the friend that is always willing to do whatever. If there happens to be food, it’s an added plus. He’s the friend who will sit on the couch binge watching Netflix with you instead of going to the gym.
5. Louise Belcher
Louise is the friend that at first you would assume is sweet and innocent, but you’re dead wrong. She knows what she wants and goes after it. If the professor is wrong, you can bet she will call him out. She doesn’t get bossed around by anyone and she makes that very clear. She’s the friend who is there to protect you through thick and thin.
In Bob’s Burgers, each character brings light and joy into the show just like the friends you will meet in college who resemble them. If you haven’t yet seen the show, I highly recommend you check it out on Netflix!
