Netflix Is Giving Us the Gift of All 236 Episodes of Friends This New Years

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at C of C chapter.

Go ahead, just keep piling on the nostalgia Netflix. The latest announcement from our favorite TV binge watching website will have my fellow 90s babes screaming shrills of excitement right along with me, for starting January 1, 2015 we can watch all 236 episodes of Friends.

The ultimate comedy we grew up watching will soon be continuously streaming on computers everywhere.

With its release we can relive the episode of Rachel getting off the plane (best moment ever because Rachel + Ross = soul mates)…

…the one where Ross struggles with leather pants

…the one with chick and duck

…the one where Phoebe gives birth to her brothers babies

…the one with the reminiscing of Monica’s chubby days

…and the one of Chandler and Monica’s not so secret relationship.

We can all nod in agreement that our Netflix addiction just got a billion times worse, for how are we supposed to be out in the real world living life while our favorite group of friends are at Central Perk chatting away, waiting for us to once again be put in their trance of comedic brilliance?

Up until New Years, Friends fans will be anticipating its Netflix debut by playing on continuous loop the theme song “I’ll be there for you” (and following the lyric “So no one told you life was gonna be this way” with the signature quadruple clap)…

…putting a turkey on our heads this Thanksgiving as an ode to that classic Joey moment

…saying Phoebe’s go to word: phalange

…being overly sarcastic by trying out one of Chandlers uncomfortable jokes

…singing Phoebe’s song “Smelly Cat”

…and fixing our hair to model all of Rachel’s famous hairstyles, even if they’re so 1994

I am going to be an overachiever and propose my resolution for the upcoming new year right now: watch all 10 seasons of Friends. That’s a resolution I know I can keep.
