What gave you the initial idea for your blog, awakeandadorn.com?
I have always been intrigued by numerous blogs. I love to write and enjoy piecing together outfits, cooking, and DIY, so it seemed like a good fit. My friend Savannah (she runs the blog with me) and I sat down and really talked one day. We discussed our interests because, while we both love children and intend on working in the field of Education, we both love fashion, design, photography, and cooking- basically a little of everything.  We truly believe that everyone should do something they love, something that makes them money, and something that keeps them healthy! This is the something we love.

What other extracurriculars are you involved in?
Alongside maintaining two part time jobs, I am in two honors societies, am a member of Teaching Fellows at CofC and a member of Delta Gamma Fraternity.

Where do you get your inspiration for each post?
I get my inspiration from the world around me. There is magic in the mundane and I strive to inspire others!

Do you see yourself continuing this blog in the coming years?
I would love to continue this blog in the future. I think there are great moves in my future that could advance this blog and I would love to see it turn into something much larger than it currently is.

Would you consider making a career out of blogging?
I would absolutely consider making a career out of blogging. It is what I love after all!
