5 Favorite Bromances of All Time

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at C of C chapter.

1. Zach Braff and Donald Faison (Scrubs)

Zach and Donald met on the set of Scrubs (2001). Unlike their characters, J.D and Turk, they became fast friends. On the musical episode in 2006, they sing the famous ‘Guy Love’.  Over the summer I decided to sit down and watch the entire series…. it was the best decision I’ve made. I’ve watched numerous reruns and always laugh continuously through the 21 minutes.

2. Bradley James and Colin Morgan (Merlin)

These two worked on the set of Merlin (2008) together. Merlin is based on the King Arthur and Camelot legends.  The show, even a bit serious, has its witty humor. There is banter between Arthur and Merlin, which at times makes you wonder if the show is about Arthur’s destiny or their bromance…

3. Shawn and Gus (Psych)

I don’t even know where to begin with these two. They have practically been friends since they were in the womb. They challenge, bully, and banter with each other. While Gus makes Shawn more responsible and independent, Shawn makes Gus more carefree and relaxed.

4. Chandler and Joey (F.R.I.E.N.D.S)

Not only are they flat mates, but they are best friends. Even when they have fights, like the same girls, or have problems with ducks and roosters, they are still on each others side. Joey is the womanizer and Chandler is the closet romantic. They complement each other.

5.Shawn and Cory (Boy Meets World)

Shawn and Cory were the dynamic duo. They grew up together and were inseparable.  Even with Topanga in the picture, they have no problem declaring their love for each other. Shawn comes from a broken home, while Cory comes from a loving family. Although Shawn frequently tries to push Cory away, he is aways there for him.
