Spill the Baby Beans

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Butler chapter.

Editor’s Note: The reason why this article is called “Spill the Baby Beans” is because Kaitlyn is a part of the pickle family in AXO, and when I first saw her pickle headband I thought it was bean, hence why I call her “Baby Bean”.

Kaitlyn Kastberg is a 19-year-old, first-year, pre-pharmacy major with a minor in healthcare management. She is from Chesterfield MI and is currently single.

Her Campus (HC): What are you involved in on campus?

Kaitlyn Kastberg (KK): Pre pharmacy club, member of alpha chi omega, and a mentor in College Mentors for Kids.

HC: How do you study in Ross Hall’s basement without getting distracted?

KK: I can’t study if it’s quiet out, I need noise. And I like having people around me to help if I’m struggling with something. I like the social aspect too, like study breaks.

HC: If you could have a mundane superpower (e.g. telekenisis with only remotes) what would it be?

KK: I would like to be able to fly, but only up stairs.  Those Jordan stairs will get ya.

HC: If you were a color, what color would you be? Why?

KK: Sea foam green because its a comforting color and I like to listen to people’s problems. And I’m approachable. Sea foam green is approachable.

HC: What is the most embarrasing story you have from your childhood?

KK: When I was in elementary school I was playing tag in my backyard, and my neighbor Jack pushed me into the ladder going into the monkey bars, and I smashed my nose and my glasses. Then I had to go to school the next day looking like a raccoon because both of my eyes were black and blue. People called me raccoon eyes for the rest of the year.

HC: If you could make one artist drop a new platinum album right now, who would it be?

KK: One Direction
